ISS, Inc. has created a set of “engines.” These powerful, reusable software components encapsulate large blocks of reusable functionality. Our engines are constantly shared between our products, and can also be deployed to our customers' computing environments. This gives our customers access to a full set if APIs for each engine. We offer a rich API through web services, SOAP or direct access. Some examples of our engines include: - ISS Authentication Engine™
a robust and versatile platform that features user authentication (management of passwords, access rights, security groups and multiple supporting functions) throughout multiple applications and solutions
- ISS Business Rules Engine™
a unique library that houses applications that support multiple business rules that change in time and vary from customer to customer and business unit to business unit. This library utilizes Microsoft .Net Framework in order to avoid hard-coding business rules. Instead, codes are moved into the database and provide interfaces for support, change and modifications.
- ISS Notification engine™
a multi-layer chained notification logic that is independently handled and used for messaging and reporting via e-mail, sms and outbound IVR
- ISS IVR Engine™
a scalable platform that handles telephony solutions of any size, including inbound and outbound IVR and Text-to-Speech
- ISS Survey Engine™
a set of tools that allow for quick and simple configuration of complicated surveys with branching logic via IVR and the internet
- ISS Reporting Engine™
capable of producing reports using multiple reporting tools and technologies. Some of these tools and technologies include: Microsoft Report B, Crystal Reports, Adobe Reports, Microsoft Excel, PGP encryption, automatic report publishing via FTP and HTTPS and automatic exporting of reports into PDF format.
- ISS Publishing Engine™
designed for publishing and distributing files and reports via secure HTTPS protocol, e-mail and FTP. Distribution is based on a specialized and flexible security model that includes a manual “Release” step for data Quality Control.
- ISS GIS Engine™
encapsulates multiple GIS technologies and products that allow for a direct integration into any GIS solution and solve a spectrum of GIS tasks
